More Than Just A Pub.
A Legacy.
In Loving Memory
Billy's Bar is born from a profound desire to honor a life cut short and to give back to the community that stood by a family in their darkest hour.
"Giving back to the community means more than anything. We're fighting for something better, rather than just letting it go."
— Mark Cooney
Named in memory of Billy Cooney, who tragically passed away at age 19 in 2010, the bar stands as a testament to resilience. It is a space where locals can gather, celebrate, and support one another, driven by a family's dedication to turning personal tragedy into collective triumph.

Heritage Refined
When the historic Home Guard Club faced closure, we saw an opportunity to preserve a piece of Failsworth's soul. We couldn't let a local institution fade away.
Through significant personal investment and a vision for the future, the struggling venue has been meticulously transformed into Billy's Bar. We've retained the spirit of camaraderie while upgrading the experience to that of a premium modern public house.
